Ahhhh, who remembers the 70's? I sure don't because I'm a 90's kid, but being fathered by a Funkadelic aficionado and being a close cousin to the drummer of The Allman Brothers Band I know a thing or two about those wonderful times that some of you may be reminiscing of at this moment and apparently Essential Alchemy knows a thing or two as well! That 70's Smell has this aroma of nostalgia to it, that to be honest at first I wasn't too fond of; the opening notes reminded me of my grandpa's old leather chair I was never allowed to sit in but the fragrance quickly grew on me. The earthy vetiver, the patchouli, frankincense, and balsamic galbanum with a touch of bergamot create this very interesting scent that's fresh yet slightly aged, mature but free flowing like the flower children of that time period, and over all comforting like when you visit grandma and she greets you with a big hug and a plate of chocolate chip cookies. I really enjoyed this fragrance and I think you will too.
